These Terms of Service are provided by site.com.tw ("we" or "us"), currently operated independently by an individual developer under the name "Hyphen Network" (not yet incorporated as a company or registered business; no business registration number). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
site.com.tw provides short link generation and redirection, dynamic QR codes (destinations can be updated after creation), a landing page editor, digital business cards (vCard), traffic analytics (scans, views, CTA clicks, conversion funnels), email subscriber list management, and synchronized posting (collectively, the "Service").
2. Account Registration and Obligations
- You must provide an accurate and complete email address and complete email verification to fully use the Service;
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account;
- You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account;
- Each individual or organization should generally use a single account; creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is not permitted.
3. Free Plan Quota and Limits
- The free plan includes 25 "touchpoints" per month (short links, QR codes, landing pages, and digital business cards, counted together);
- The quota resets monthly according to your account's billing cycle;
- Once your account reaches the plan limit, you may be unable to create additional short links, QR codes, landing pages, or digital business cards until you upgrade to a paid plan or the quota resets in the next cycle; items already created remain active regardless of quota exhaustion;
- The features and quotas of paid plans are as published on our pricing page.
4. Paid Subscription Plans
- The Service offers two paid subscription plans, Personal and Professional, each billable monthly or annually; plan features and pricing are as published on our pricing page;
- Subscription payments are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.) as Merchant of Record; Polar is responsible for issuing invoices and handling applicable taxes;
- Payment is accepted by credit card only (processed via Polar/Stripe); we do not currently support PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay, or other local payment methods;
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until canceled; you may cancel at any time through account settings;
- Upon cancellation, your subscription benefits continue until the end of the current billing cycle and are not terminated immediately;
- Once the billing cycle ends and the subscription is formally terminated, we provide a 7-day grace period: during this period your card content and design remain fully preserved; once the grace period expires, your reserved URL (custom path or subdomain) is released for other users to claim, and your card content automatically reverts to display at your free-plan random-code URL; any previously printed or shared QR codes pointing to the released reserved URL will stop working;
- As a general policy, we do not offer refunds for charges already incurred, except where required by applicable law.
5. User Content and Responsibility
- All content you create through the Service — including, without limitation, short link destination URLs, QR code configurations, landing page text and images, digital business card information, and subscriber list sources — is entered and managed by you, and you are solely responsible for its legality, accuracy, and any required authorization (including with respect to third-party data);
- We do not pre-screen content you create, but we reserve the right to remove content, or to suspend or terminate your account, if we find it violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice;
- If you use the email subscription feature to collect a subscriber list, you must ensure your collection method complies with the Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws, and provide an unsubscribe mechanism upon request; the Service already provides subscribers the ability to unsubscribe at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
By using the Service, you agree not to:
- Create short links, QR codes, or landing pages that point to phishing, fraud, malware, or other illegal content;
- Infringe on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights;
- Abuse the email subscription feature to send unsolicited spam;
- Programmatically generate large volumes of short links, QR codes, or similar resources to circumvent plan quotas or place undue burden on the Service;
- Engage in any conduct that could compromise the stability or security of the Service.
Violation of the above may result in action under Section 5(2).
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the intellectual property in content you create. We retain all rights in the Service's software, systems, interface design, trademarks, and related intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license to the foregoing except as explicitly stated.
8. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely free of vulnerabilities. We are not responsible for the destination websites or third-party content that your short links, QR codes, or landing pages link to or display.
9. Termination
- You may delete your account and stop using the Service at any time through account settings or by contacting us;
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or for security or operational reasons, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance except in urgent circumstances;
- Upon account termination, the short links, QR codes, landing pages, and digital business cards you previously created may cease to function; we do not otherwise guarantee retention or restoration of your data. Termination of a paid subscription is separately governed by the grace-period mechanism in Section 4(6).
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss, business interruption, or loss of goodwill) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
11. Protection of Minors
Persons under seven years of age may not use the Service. Persons between seven and eighteen years of age must obtain the consent of a legal guardian before using the Service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on our website or communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
14. Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from the Service or these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be handled by the court specified in Section 13, or through applicable consumer-protection complaint or mediation channels.
